Briargate is the large master-planned area on the north side of Colorado Springs, and for many families it is shorthand for Academy District 20 schools. Shopping, medical and the interstate are all close, and the housing stock spans several decades of construction, which matters more than the neighborhood name. Before you buy here: Confirm the actual school assignment for the specific address rather than the area, because boundaries move. Check which HOA or metro district the property falls under and what it costs.
